The domain of Gîtes la Source is a village of 7 gîtes, a unique place located in the Dordogne, in the heart of the Golden Triangle of Périgord Noir, just a few minutes from all tourist and cultural activities and halfway between Lascaux and Sarlat (12 minutes).
Sandrine and Pierre Sauvager, the new owners since June 2019, welcome you all year round in their property. They have 20 years of experience in prestigious Parisian restaurants that they now put at your service through their sense of hospitality and service.
The Gîtes La Source are a place for exchanges, meetings and sharing, a simple and friendly place where our guests very quickly take ownership of the place.
The swimming pool, the large garden, the play barn, the meals are all opportunities for you and your children to exchange your experiences and share simple and convivial moments.
The Gîtes La Source estate extends over a 6-hectare site of meadows and woods, an old Périgord farmhouse built with traditional stones from the country.
This green and peaceful setting will allow you both to take advantage of the infrastructures offered on site and to discover the activities of the region: prehistoric sites unique in the world, 1001 Castles, exceptional caves and pits, remarkable gardens, visit of the most beautiful villages of France,… without forgetting the gastronomy… hiking in the forest, bike rides, outings in canoes, in the trees, in the air (hot-air balloon) or even in caving.
The diversity of activities, the quality of life and the cultural heritage make Périgord a region that can be visited all year round.
The town of Saint-Geniès is 2.5 km away and offers all local shops (bakery, grocery store, butcher, bar and restaurants).
Sunday morning is market day, you will find all the local producers and their local products.
